Josh Hitchens
Creative Director
Josh Hitchens grew up in Delaware and moved to the Philadelphia area seven years ago. He holds a BFA in acting from Arcadia University, is a company member of Curio Theater Company and Co-Artistic Director of the Magic Circle Theater Company. By day he works as a tour guide at Eastern Penitentiary, and by night is a storyteller for the Ghost Tour of Philadelphia.

Jay Efran
Technical Director
Jay Efran has designed lighting and special effects for community theatres such as the Hartack Players, Tower Singers, and Savoy Dramatic Company in New York, the Durham Theatre Guild in North Carolina, and—more locally—the Narberth and Moorestown Community Theatres. A member of the Society of American Magicians, he has performed regularly for groups in Boston, Columbus, Indianapolis, Niagara Falls, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, San Diego, Seattle, Vancouver, Victoria, Washington, and the Poconos.

Ebenezer Maxwell Mansion and Mutter Museum present the second in a series featuring master detective Sherlock Holmes and his assistant Dr. Watson: The Adventure of the Speckled Band. Watch them solve the puzzling murder of Dr. Grimesby Roylott committed inside a locked bedroom at Stoke Moran. Ibsen's A Doll's House

The world premiere of A Doll's House was on December 21, 1879 at the Royal Theater in Copenhagen. The play criticises the traditional roles of men and women in 19th-century marriage. The play, performed in the Mansion's parlor, will present a glimpse into life of a Victorian family. Adapted & directed by Josh Hitchens

Oliver Twist has been murdered and Charles Dickens must enlist the aid of his characters to find the culprit. Join us in a mad pursuit through the pages of Dickens to solve this very Dickensian mystery.Philadelphia favorite, Josh Hitchens, will portray Charles Dickens in this mystery.Written by Ed Pettit and directred by Jay Efran.
