Located in the historic Tulpehocken Station District of Philadelphia, visit Ebenezer Maxwell Mansion to experience authentic Victorian Theatre while surrounded by ornate interiors representative of life in Victorian Philadelphia. Featuring the works of renowned authors such as Charles Dickens, Arthur Conan Doyle, Bram Stoker and Louisa May Alcott. Josh Hitchens
Creative Director

Josh Hitchens grew up in Delaware and moved to the Philadelphia area seven years ago. He holds a BFA in acting from Arcadia University, is a company member of Curio Theater Company and Co-Artistic Director of the Magic Circle Theater Company. By day he works as a tour guide at Eastern Penitentiary, and by night is a storyteller for the Ghost Tour of Philadelphia.

Jay Efran
Technical Director

Jay Efran has designed lighting and special effects for community theatres such as the Hartack Players, Tower Singers, and Savoy Dramatic Company in New York, the Durham Theatre Guild in North Carolina, and—more locally—the Narberth and Moorestown Community Theatres. A member of the Society of American Magicians, he has performed regularly for groups in Boston, Columbus, Indianapolis, Niagara Falls, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, San Diego, Seattle, Vancouver, Victoria, Washington, and the Poconos.

Josh Hitchens directed Blood Relations for Germantown's The Drama Group in 2009, and reunites the original cast for one night only.
